Well, we had planned to have dinner at the hotel, but on checking the menu, we decided that the meal would be either 54$ or 75$ depending on the choice, and that would be a bit excessive. So, we took the free shuttle into town and had dinner at the mall at a place not unlike Denny's with the meals pictured outside the restaurant in full three D splendour. I had hamburger steak, french fries and green beans which was quite delightful. All for 734 yen or approximately $7.50. Then, the free shuttle back to the hotel. There were 8 of us who did the same.
There are yellow lines on the sidewalks with dots at corners...this is apparently for those who have sight problems so they may identify the cross roads.
Gas seems about the same price.
Our gifts for the host family must be wrapped, apparently, so there was a scramble today to find wrapping paper and scotch tape. Who knew?
Early start tomorrow with breakfast at 6:45 and then the plane ride to Kasugai.
