well, back at the hotel at last at 4:45 after leaving here this a.m. at 9:30.  We rode subways, and taxis today and visited marvellous a Shinto Shrine and a Buddhist temple, both simply fabulous.  In between we had lunch at a French restaurant which seemed pretty close to Japanese food, to me, in that there was soup, and rice.  But we had chicken that was cooked and that was a real plus. We then visited a geisha street and then a museum.  The museum was so interesting in that it was fabric, clothing, lacquer ware.  I enjoyed that very much.  Following that we headed home.  I am pretty pooped after all,that time on my feet except for the 45 minutes at lunch. We have a bit of a break until dinner at the train station near by.  Our lunch cost 1000 yen which is approximately $10.
